Down the rabbit hole...

I have to say that, in general, the transition from winter to spring feels like falling down the rabbit hole. You leave a glum world and enter one with promise and light. I, for one, much prefer this side of the rabbit hole. Who wouldn't when you see the following things on a daily basis?

These blushing beauties seem to be multiplying daily!! Although some of our neighbors go a bit over the top with tremendous amounts of tulips, these guys are more beautiful and happier by far. You can also hear my mother and I screaming at my brothers to be careful around the flowers while they play outside. Just another day in the neighborhood. =)

I wish I could express how much I love the fact that this tree is nearly ready to bloom near our front door. The smell of its blossoms is absolutely amazing and the white flowers are so beautiful in such huge amounts. I can't wait until all the blossoms look like the following picture...

Finally, I leave you with two characters always greeting me after arriving home. Their friendly faces are a sight for sore eyes after a long day in retail land.
